Key Responsibilities:
The Partnership Specialist will work closely with Business Partners to enhance their knowledge and build infrastructure in their business to convert customers to PaySpace. This role will analyse the partner's knowledge, identify the business gaps to becoming a PaySpace Strategic Partner, and assist partners with best practices when they build their business. The role will include supporting partners from the pre-sale requirements, identifying skill gaps, providing best practices during implementations, the go-live process, and helping their customers on PaySpace. This role calls for an individual who can focus on the details,
being thoroughly "buttoned-down" and on top of all aspects of how to build a thriving partner while being aware of the bigger picture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensures Partner excellence through knowledge sharing and constant communication.
• Assists with quoting accurate hours for the successful implementation of PaySpace.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with partners.
• Lives the company's values and service standards concerning customer interaction.
• Adheres to business processes and systems to meet the company's quality requirements.
• Takes personal accountability for service excellence to the Partner.
• Adheres to the company's work standards.
Finance
• Ensures Cost savings and efficiencies in the area of accountability.
Information Security
• Understand their role within the organisation from an information security perspective and commit to protecting the organisation’s security information assets.
Self- development
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional
• publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional
organisations.
• Prepare personal development plans with the Manager and implement them per business requirements.
Teamwork
• Ensures teamwork to achieve shared goals.
• Collaborates closely with the Business Partner team to build and maintain a robust Business Partner base.
Assists our new Business Partners with Best practices in the following aspects:
• How to conduct leading workshops to facilitate the customers' requirements to implement their customers accurately and efficiently on PaySpace.
• Best Practice to assist partners how to Analyse and documenting all customer
requirements.
• Brainstorm with Business Partners on how to best satisfy customers' requirements and
create specification documents for these items, seeking internal guidance and support
where necessary
• Do regular checks in with Partners to quality check the configuration of the system according to the customers' requirements.
• Support the configuration of complex calculations using JavaScript where required.
• Give guidance on the migration of data from the current system to PaySpace, ensuring
payroll data is balanced.
• Formulate and actively manage the conversion project plan with the Partner and ensure
milestones are reached.
• Implement and check in on standard tried and tested implementation procedures to assist partners with their strategic objectives.
• Provide training to partners while playing a lead role in conversions.
Post-Implementation support:
• Provide support to the Partner via email or telephone until their knowledge is sufficient.
• Closely track and share where Partners are in their Partner journey
Requirements:
• Full knowledge of Payroll and HR legislation
• Experience with South Africa and the rest of Africa's legislation
• At least 2-3 years of experience in payroll consulting
• Demonstrated project management experience • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office
suite, i.e. Excel, Word, etc.
• JavaScript or similar programming language experience
• Strong analytical abilities
• Creative and innovative
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply basic concepts in new situations
• Strong interpersonal skills
